I swear. I look at the sun. I look at a client … and think, get it. Then I get home and wonder. Are other photographers out there shaking their head thinking what is this girl thinking? Is she crazy to think this is good? But I think. I love it. I do. It’s gorgeous. It’s summer. It works.

I remember this session vividly. I pulled up to the house in Strathmere and there was a huge sign celebrating the “captain” which was their grandfather. I loved their nickname for him as we never called my grandmother the traditional nicknames of nana, grandma etc. She was my “dade” named by my cousin.
